She went on to work in skilled nursing facilities as a Director of Social Services and eventually as a consultant. After graduating with her bachelor’s, Nicole worked at a locked psychiatric facility and eventually found her way into geriatric medical social work. Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. Gillian is a Chicago native who loves traveling the world, going to see live music, and watching true crime documentaries. She understands the flow, the process, and the necessity of navigating each level of care smoothly and with clinical appropriateness. Gillian brings a broad range of experience to Clearview’s Outpatient Program having formerly work in hospital settings, outpatient settings and most recently as a residential clinical director. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child studies with an emphasis on human development and behavior from Northern Illinois University, and Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and has been a licensed clinician since 2017. She has worked in the field of mental health and addiction for over 10 years, beginning her career at UCLA’s Resnik Neuropsychiatric Institute. Gillian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and Mindfulness-Based Addiction and Trauma Therapist.
